Assisting Ms. Halima to Run a Tiffin Supply for School

Ms. Halima was a victim of violence. Her husband used an axe over her for more money after marriage. By the grace of Allah she survived. She moved into a small township and we will not name it for security. She recovered after few month and started a small tiffin supply with initial help from family. JIBIKA gave her two rounds of support. With the first batch her mother bought her pots and pans. With the next batch sent – it augmented her working capital. Where ever you are and whichever township- if you find a fellow muslim brother or sister in distress you can support them with your ZAKAT or Sadaka and support a livelihood.

He became jobless in lockdown. He is located in Raujan, Chittagong. I have verified his identity and the story facts. He needs 42000 for six months. JIBIKA would try to collect fund as close as possible to that figure if not full.

Help Dengue Child Patients in Bangladesh

Bangladesh records nearly 60,000 patients hospitalized for dengue so far in 2019. Most of the patients are children of poor families from rural and semi urban areas. Many parents cannot afford proper hospital beds, food and medicines for treatment. We want to donate a small amount to help the poorest of these poor children to continue their treatment and fight death to the best possible capacity.

JIBIKA wants to donate Taka 10,000 to 30 patients each as a small contribution in facet of such epidemics.

Azizul Hoque needs to be debt free to survive

Azizul Haque is a 65 year old poor guy with 2 daughters and a son, from Faridpur district. Due to his illness he has a taken loan of BDT 30,000 from local merchants at 10% interest rate with no fixed term. Now to repay this he needs to pay 250 taka daily through rickshaw pulling. He has paid more than 15000 taka but his principal amount remains same. This will go on and he will hardly be able to pay the principal as the profit is 100 taka per thousand evert month. No matter how much he pays, it goes in the profit/interest amount and the principal remains same. He needs to get rid of this and start a small business to survive better.

JIBIKA has estimated an amount of BDT 55,000 to accomplish the mission. This will clear-up his dues in next 4 months and also enable him to start fresh with a vendor business.

UPDATE:

We have paid of all his dues. Now we need 10,000 taka to arrange him a sustainable living. He wants to buy a rickshaw and give it for rent. This way he will earn 3000 taka a month. And he will earn something by himself. When he has a moderate amount of money saved, he may move to his village and start a business there. To help him, please DONATE HERE

We donated further 7500 taka and he bought a rickshaw with his equity of 2000 with it. He is happy now and living a better life.
