A six year old girl, Manha (Ayat Ashrafa) is suffering from blood cancer and being treated in Calcutta. Her father Mr. Dewan, who was also a beneficiary of JIBIKA, passed away on account of bone cancer two months back. She is a student of Play Group at Deen Kindergarten International. Her roll number is 12. Manha receives treatment in Calcutta every three months and requires 100,000 taka in each visit. Her mother, a bereaved widow, is helpless and finding it really difficult to continue her treatment. Nevertheless, Manha has no uncle, grandfather or siblings to look after her. However the good news is that doctors in Calcutta is optimistic that Manha can get 99% cured if she can continue the treatment for next 10 cycles which will cost her 10 lacs taka. JIBIKA urges to kind people especially young parents to come forward and help this mother to save/cure her child, who is her only means to live. To contribute any amount please consider either of the following
JIBIKA wants to treat 30 street children in a restaurant/cafe/fast-food shop to gift them a splendid moment and perhaps a lifetime experience. We want to bear all the expenses of their food and if budget allows buy them some grocery to take back home.
We will randomly select poor street children and feed them quality meal at a luxurious food shop in different areas of the city with similar budget range. A small gift hamper including rice and pulses for them to take back home will be provided too.
Estimated budget would look like:
Total Cost for Entire Event: 70,000 taka. If you think this is an event worth sponsoring, then please sponsor a child for only BDT 1400 USD 17.
You cannot change the world by sponsoring One child, but you may well change the world of One Child.
You can sponsor as many children as you want. We will stop collecting money once the total amount has been raised. If money saved, we will increase number of children.
Note: Our team / volunteers will bear their own food expense from their own pocket.
