JIBIKA had contributed a little amount to 6 Victims who have been crippled by the building collapse accident at Savar Rana Plaza. JIBIKA helped 6 of the victims to buy Wheel Chairs for their day to day survival and movement. An amount of 42000 taka was donated.
70 year old made a survivalist
A 70 year old man has been given a new life to survive. JIBIKA found him fighting hard to survive on the streets of Dhaka city. He pulls rickshaw half time and suffers from malnutrition. His family is in Tangail. We helped him start a new tea and cigarette business that is less labor intensive, has more ownership and quick inventory turnover. He has been doing well. We invested around 5000 taka. His first day sale was 900 taka. We wish him a profitable and sustainable employment.
