The 54 year old Md. Ali Noor works at Holy Side hotel in Sylhet town as a watchman. He earns only taka 4000 a month which is very minimal to sustain a family of his size in today’s economy. He has 2 daughters and a son. The eldest daughter is studying HSC but is facing hardship to pay off education fees. The younger daughter has been withdrawn from school. The son is only 6 years old and studying at school. Ali Noor comes from Jamalganj union, Sunamganj district. He wants to restart his old grocery shop which periled during his financial crisis.

Mr. Noor was employed in Saudi Arabia but due to racism and immigration issues, he was misbehaved by his employer and sent back. Upon returning in BD, he found that his brothers sold out his shop. He had no option but to accept the job of a security guard.

JIBIKA Foundation wants to stand beside him with the support of kind donors.

JIBIKA helps Jalal to regain his Entrepreneaurship

Md. Jalal Uddin Sheikh is a 56 year old man who has been forced to migrate to Dhaka city to find some income source for his financial adversities. He comes from 2 Hossainpur Union, Polashbari Thana, Gainbandha district. He had taken some loan to meet up the medical expense of his wife who has been suffering from acute diseases like diabetes, gall bladder stone etc. He also had to suspend his grocery shop due to lack of fund to procure inventory. Being baffled, he came to Dhaka and started pulling rickshaw to maintain his family and repay the installments of the loan he took with high interest rates.

JIBIKA has identified him as a genuine and potential beneficiary in need of financial assistance that can rebuild his livelihood wheel. An amount of Taka 10,000 was given to him to restart his grocery shop so that he does not have pull rickshaw any more in Dhaka and he can slowly manage to repay his loan based  on the profit earned from his business.
